Install Sympose Studio

Download the Sympose desktop app and sign in to start composing.

Sympose Studio runs as a desktop app. The desktop app owns projects, editing, playback, recording, and export. The Sympose website handles account, plan, usage, and download tasks.

Download

  1. Go to muse.art/download.
  2. Choose a supported build for your computer. The download page is the source of truth for current platforms and system requirements.
  3. Install and open Sympose.

On first launch you will be prompted to sign in.

Sign-in happens in your browser, then returns you to the desktop app:

  1. In Sympose, choose Sign in.
  2. A browser window opens on muse.art for you to log in or create an account.
  3. Confirm the device when prompted.
  4. The desktop app picks up your session and opens the Start view.

If you do not have an account yet, create one at muse.art/signup.

Permissions and audio

Sympose may ask for access when you first use a hardware or file workflow:

  • Microphone or audio input for audio recording
  • MIDI devices for controller input and recording
  • Files and folders when you import material or choose an export destination

These actions require your gesture. The agent can prepare or request the workflow, but it cannot grant operating-system permission or choose private files on your behalf.

Instrument content may download separately from the app. Keep Sympose open until the required content finishes installing.

Next step

Once you are signed in, create your first project.
