Plans, questions, and approvals
Review read-only plans, answer consequential questions, and control agent authority.
Sympose separates understanding a task from receiving authority to change the project.
Plan before broad work
In Plan Mode, Sympose can inspect the project and draft an ordered plan containing the objective, affected resources, assumptions, risks, required expertise, and checks. Project mutation remains unavailable.
You can:
- Approve the current plan revision
- Request changes
- Answer a question
- Cancel the plan
Approval applies to that revision and scope. Sympose cannot approve its own plan.
Amendments
During execution, a material change in scope requires an amendment. Review the proposed change before allowing the run to continue. Small implementation details that stay inside the approved outcome do not require repeated confirmation.
Questions at meaningful forks
Sympose may pause for one focused decision when your taste, intent, or understanding changes the likely result. A question can include suggested choices, but always allows a freeform answer.
Your answer becomes part of the run history. Reloading or restarting Sympose does not turn the same answer into duplicate downstream edits.
Destructive and mediated actions
Deleting important material requires confirmation unless it is already covered by an approved plan. Importing files, starting recording, granting permission, and choosing an export destination always require your direct operating-system gesture.
Stop or cancel
You can stop an active run at any time. Work that completed before cancellation remains visible and, when reversible, can be reverted. A stopped run does not silently continue under new authority.
